The structure of the basket grinder is a grinding basket, a stirring rod, a suction tray, a screen and a dispersing tray. The grinding basket is equipped with grinding medium, namely grinding beads, which are generally zirconia beads. Its working principle is: the spindle drives the suction tray, stirring rod and dispersing tray, the rotation of the suction tray sucks the material into the grinding basket, and the stirring rod turns the grinding beads, so as to grind. The material moves through the clearance of the grinding beads and is grinded during the movement. Because of the effect of gravity and the diffusion of the disc at the bottom of the grinder, the material flows into the bottom of the basket grinder and out of the grinding basket after passing through the screen. When the material is grinded in the grinding basket, due to the material's long time contact with the inner wall of the grinding basket, the stirring rod and the grinding basket, some metal debris will be mixed into the material, resulting in material discoloration and blackening. This part of the metal debris is the metal debris which falls off when the grinding medium rubs against the grinding basket and the stirring rod.
In order to reduce metal debris, the material used for grinding basket and stirring rod should have high hardness and good material quality. It requires us to select materials with high hardness and good wear resistance when making, so as to ensure that materials will not be polluted and discolored by grinding.
